FRANCE CONCERT (2-1098329/3-1098330) présente ce spectacle BALLET ET ORCHESTRE – Théâtre National Académique d’Opéra et de Ballet d’ArménieEn hommage au compositeur Aram Khatchatourian et à sa contribution à la culture arménienne, l’Opéra et le Ballet National d’Arménie met sur l’avant de la scène française un ballet riche en émotions. En 1941, Aram Khatchatourian compose Mascarade pour la pièce éponyme du poète et dramaturge russe Mikhaïl Lermontov. C’est grâce à la suite en cinq mouvements que cette musique est devenue mémorable. La première a eu lieu le 21 juin 1941 au Théâtre Vakhtangov de Moscou. Mascarade est une pièce tragique qui mêle amour, tromperie et mystère. C’est au cours d’un grand bal masqué que se croisent les destins des différents personnages qui, à la suite d’une malheureuse méprise, sont précipités vers une résolution dramatique. Le Théâtre de l'Opéra représente la fierté de la nation arménienne, situé au cœur de la capitale : Erevan. C'est le berceau de création pour les opéras et les ballets les plus célèbres d'Arménie. Les rideaux de ce théâtre ont été ouverts pour la première fois le 20 janvier 1933. Depuis plus de 90 ans, il demeure la gloire de la scène musicale nationale, permettant à tous de découvrir l’art dramatique arménien. Aujourd'hui, le Théâtre d'Opéra et de Ballet d'Arménie s’emploie à élargir son répertoire de chefs-d'œuvre de l'opéra et du ballet arméniens et internationaux. BALLET AND ORCHESTRA - National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia As a tribute to the composer Aram Khachatourian and his contribution to Armenian culture, the National Opera and Ballet of Armenia bring a ballet rich in emotion to the forefront of the French stage. In 1941, Aram Khachatourian composed Masquerade for the eponymous play by the Russian poet and playwright Mikhaïl Lermontov. The music has remained memorable over the decades thanks to its five-movement suite. The premiere was on June 21st, 1941, at the Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow. Masquerade is a tragic play that unites love, deception, and mystery. During a great masked ball, the fates of various characters meet and, following an unfortunate misinterpretation, are launched into a dramatic conclusion. The Opera Theatre is the pride of the Armenian nation, located in the heart of the capital: Yerevan. It is the center of creation for Armenia’s most famous operas and ballets. The curtains of this theater were first drawn on January 20th, 1933. For more than 90 years, it has remained the glory of the national musical scene, allowing the whole world to discover Armenian dramatic arts. Today, the Armenian Opera and Ballet Theater is working on expanding its repertoire of Armenian and international opera and ballet masterpieces.
